Felt the summer breeze had come within these days. The sun was shining very brightly. But the hot weather couldn't make the ice princess' heart melting. Sitting on the bench while holding a daisy flower on her hand. Her imagination went along with the breeze within a second when her phone rang. The ice princess picked up her phone, but nothing came out of her mouth. She just stayed still hearing to what the caller's saying.
After a while, she closed her flipped phone. Leaving the daisy alone on the bench, she walked out of the park and making her way to the car that always waited for her where ever she went.
'Where to go?' asked the man on the driver seat. He didn't dare to take a look at the ice princess from the mirror glass.
'Airport,' she answered it with a happy voice and a smile spread away on her face. The driver noticed that there was something different. With a brave soul, he took a look on the mirror glass. And yes, he did see a smile on the ice princess' face. A smile that he had never seen within this past months. 'Is this the time?' he asked again. The ice princess just nodded. She took her iPod out of her bag and played it. She listened to it with her eyes were closed.
Twelve songs had been played. On the thirteenth song, she opened her eyes and she looked out of the window. She knew that within a second she would be arrived at the airport. When the car stopped, she quickly opened the car's door. With a short backless white dress and her black Louboutin heels, she ran away. She stopped when she found her romeo. He was holding a bouquet of daisies while making a phone call. She heard her phone was ringing. But she didn't bother it. She walked to her romeo and hugged him.
Romeo could smell the scent of the ice princess. It would always be daisy. Suddenly, he loosen up his arm. The ice princess looked up to find his eyes. 'Here are daisies for you,' said romeo.
'Thank you,' said the ice princess. She hold the daisy bouquet in one hand and her other hand hold her romeo's hand. 'Let's go! You need some rest. The car has been waiting.'
When they arrived at the lobby, they car was ready for them. They got in to the car. Too tired to talk, Romeo leaned his head on the ice princess' shoulder. The ice princess made no response.
An hour and a half went by without one of them had spoken. With the ice princess' knowing that they had arrived at Romeo's house, she wake him up.
'Goodnight,' said the ice princess.
'Hmm, see you tomorrow?' asked Romeo. The ice princess just nodded. 'Same time same place?' Once again, the ice princess nodded. Then Romeo gave her a soft goodnight kiss liked he used to do. He was the only one who knew how to make the ice princess heart melting.
The next day came. It should have been the day that the ice princess had been waiting. But the ice princess somehow knew that this would be the day that she wouldn't be able to forget. She looked at her watch. '11 o'clock. It is time to go,' whispered the ice princess. She looked at the mirror. Today, she only wore Alexander Wang's white tees and Balmain bleach jeans. Knew that there was something missing, she went to her walk-in closet and took the black sparkling Balmain jacket. To make it perfect, she put her feet on the black Louboutin heels, her lucky charm. Now, she was ready to go.
She chose to go to the park by walking. She took only 7 minutes to go to the park. When she arrived, she could see her romeo, with his gray Armani suits, was sitting on the bench.
'Hey!' said the ice princess. 'Have been waiting for me too long? 'Cause there's something different with your face.'
'Nu uh.. I just arrived like a minte or so,' answered Romeo.
'Oh, I see. So, how long you'll be staying in her?'
'Tomorrow I'm going back to London,' he looked at his fingers and playing with them instead of looking to her eyes.
'So, what's the point of your visit?'
Romeo knew that his time had come. 'There's a thing that I need to tell you.'
'And what's that?'
'I've been engaged,' he told her with his deep voice while looking at the ice princess' face. As always, she made no response.
The sun was very bright today. Again, the summer breeze came. But all that the ice princess could feel was cold. It took half an hour to make the ice princess spoke.
'When girl meets boy, a painful love starts. Before I met you, I had tried not to let my feelings control me. I don't know loves nor goodbyes.'
'Don't love. Goodbyes will always come. And it hurts so much that you can't even breath,' said Romeo while looking in to her eyes. He knew her to well. Her face said nothing about what she felt, but her eyes were like an open book.
'This painful love story has frozen my heart. The rest of my breath becomes distant, becomes faint.' Hearing the ice princess' saying, Romeo could say nothing. 'Congratulation. Who ever the girl is, she's a lucky girl. Don't say that you were sorry. I hate loves. I hate goodbyes. And now I hate you.'
Romeo rose up to take a walk out of there. He knew that he couldn't hold the tears anymore. 'This painful love starts. I hate goodbyes. I can't say that I love. And like a fool again, I couldn't hold on to you,' he whispered with only the summer breeze could hear.
No tears were coming from the ice princess' eyes. She sat still on the bench. But then, she heard a car had crashed. She ran as fast as she could. She froze when she saw her Romeo laid down on the road and was covered by blood. She was on her knees right next to him. Romeo took her hand and hold it tightly.
'Don't leave like this,' whispered the ice princess. He could only smile and then he closed his eyes. The ice princess couldn't hold her tears anymore. She closed her eyes and kissed his lips for the last time.
She opened her eyes. It was all too clear. She could tell there were tears in her eyes. The tears told her that his presence was nothing more than just a dream of her memory. 'The next time I close my eyes to meet you, hold me as I stay still in that spot.'
The End
